
Bonjour! My name is Chantal, and I am the owner of Crepes by C. Where did crepes come into the picture? Honestly, it’s always been there. My earliest memories are of my French mom teaching me how to make crepes using her mother's (my grandmothers) recipe. That tradition sparked a curiosity about my French roots that eventually led me to make a life-changing decision to move to France, where I stayed for a decade. Living across various cities, I immersed myself fully in French life, language, and food. Eventually I found my way to Paris, where I received formal training in the art of crêpe-making.
When I returned to Washington, D.C., I brought more than just memories, I brought a renewed sense of purpose. Crêpes by C was born in 2022 and with it, the mission to share a little piece of France with every person I serve. Bon appétit!
