Bonjour! My name is Chantal, and I am the owner of Crepes by C. Where did crepes come into the picture? Honestly, it’s always been there. My earliest memories are of my French mom teaching me how to make crepes using her mother's (my grandmothers) recipe.​ In pursuit to learn more about my French culture, I made a life-changing decision to move to France.

After a decade of living in various cities in France, I was formally trained in the art of crepe making in Paris. Upon returning to my hometown of Washington D.C. in 2021, I wanted to bring a piece of France back with me. Crepes by C was born shortly after in 2022.
